We were so thrilled to host Chantal & Anthony, a vivacious & fun-loving couple, here at Wildwood Acres Resort. Chantal & Anthony wanted a wedding that reflected their personalities and incorporated their family cultures (he's Irish & she's French & Dutch). To incorporate Anthony's Irish culture, they played Irish music and drank lots of beer! The theme of the wedding was Paris and the wedding had a lot of Parisian charm, including French food and wine. And lastly, to honor the Dutch side, their friends & families sang Dutch songs & performed traditional Dutch roastings. Rebecca & Bill are such an amazing couple. Their wedding was filled with so much fun & passion and looking at them inspires us that we can find love at any point in life. From the recessional sing-along of "All You Need is Love," to their first dance, punctuated by the blowing of ginormous bubbles, their zest for life and love for each other was evident in all of the details. Fall weddings at Wildwood Acres are among the loveliest. Jamie & Stephen had their gorgeous nuptials here at Wildwood this past fall. And what a what a creative couple! They met while at college in Oregon, where they both studied Theatre & Set Design. Their wedding was full of whimsical touches. Their Wedding party danced to Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture show. And Stephen donned a Godzilla mask while Jamie wore Godzilla slippers for some of their wedding photos. Such a fun wedding! We were looking back at some of our past weddings and couldn't pass up the chance to share with you one of our favorite couples' amazing wedding day. Linh & Sak met during a trip to Thailand and bonded over their love of anime and all things photography-related. Sak, a toy-packaging designer by trade, created a large-sized Canon replica as one of their photo-booth props with their name and wedding date on the camera. And we loved their clothes-line polaroid snapshots of their wedding guests. So many sweet details on this day (captured by the very talented Andre Nguyen at Andre Nguyen Photography). 

What we loved most about this wonderful couple is their playfulness. During the reception, Sak surprised Linh by singing one of their favorite songs. And although he missed more than a few notes, he still sang his heart out. And to get everyone on the dance floor at the end of the evening, Linh & Sak pre-choreographed a singing/dancing flash mob & was able to get their entire wedding party and at least 1/3 of their guests to join in on the fun! We had such an amazing time helping Rose & Rob plan their beautiful wedding this summer here at Wildwood Acres Resort. They're a wonderful couple with an incredibly warm and loving family. And what a celebration - we almost didn't want the evening to end!
